The HAVEN Luxury Hotel Suites In Ipoh, Malaysia

The official opening of The Haven Luxury Resort, which comprises of 150 suite units has been officiated by the YB Dato' Seri Mohamed Nazri bin Abdul Aziz, the Minister of Tourism and Culture last August 2015. I feels that The Haven is like a sanctuary of heaven on earth, enclaves within the clean, green and serene greenery forest+limestone that's soothing and calming my overall senses to perfection. 

The Haven Luxury Resort is currently the first and only five-star luxury resort hotel in Ipoh, Perak. It features 150 units of hotel suites, with sizes ranging from 868 sq ft to 2072 sq ft. It is also Perak's tallest and most luxurious resort Condotel, the only one of its kind in the world where you can live by the forest amidst the natural beauty of Ipoh’s famed limestone hills.

It is operated by Best Western International, one of the world’s largest hotel management chains under their Premier 5-star category. I have stayed at Best Western International Hotel especially during my Europe holidays and I enjoyed my stay at their hotels most of the time.

CONCEPT

The Haven’s concept is to offer a most attractive eco-vacation destination of 5 star international standards with accommodation, food and service to match that caters to guests of 3 generations, parents, children and grandparents.

The Haven is situated on a site that has been certified by renowned geologists as predating the Palaeozoic times. When I google the night before I reached The Haven that Saturday afternoon, I was fascinated by the many nice pictures already but just never thought that I would fall in love with the real Haven paradise after having this blissful holiday.

The Haven centrepiece is an iconic 280 million-year-old 14-storey limestone outcrop “Rockhaven”, situated adjacent to a 4-acre natural-flowing lake. Such an awe-alluring place to be, I took my own sweet time to enjoy the beautiful scenery of this place for long. 

LOCATION

Located in Tambun, the location is just 5 minutes after exiting from the North/South highway interchange. The Haven is a one-of a kind resort hotel, situated on the edge on a virgin forest, yet only 15 minutes to the city centre of Ipoh. 

Kelxy gave me a warm welcome at the condotel lobby when I reached Haven before 1pm as I had a 'Sun Sun Lei Lei' smooth drive all along the journey from KL to Ipoh. And it's easy to find this pristine enclaved private resort also because they had dropped me the location pin that I've followed real closely. 

FACILITIES & SERVICES

The Haven offers lavish and luxurious facilities, probably second to none in the nation. They also have one of the best, fanciful Seahorse-shaped swimming pool that makes me fall in love with the fancy pool the moment I witness it with my own big eyes. I wanted to jump into this classy, luxury glass pool already but I needed to go for my lunch and a short briefing 1st before I can enjoy my short holiday here.



Haha...Early am in the morning, I had this big attractive pool 'Ba' all for myself so I swim here and there all I wanted. Very soothing and calming feeling esp. when I swim all around this pool, I really took the chance to rest and relax to the max by enjoying the lake view that's just next to me, not forgetting the million years limestone view and breathing fresh cooling air all around this natural greenery surrounding me. 

An original and unique trademarked design of a Seahorse shape has been created for the 5 level swimming pool, separating it into Spa, Lap, Leisure, Children and Wading pool. I swim to every corner of this 5 level of swimming pool section and I totally enjoyed every moment of it.

Amenities within the premise also includes a 600 metres natural jogging track, meditation deck, barbeque areas, fully-equipped gym, squash court, badminton court, table-tennis room, outdoor children’s playground, indoor children’s playroom, business centre, restaurants, shuttle bus service, multi-storey covered car park buildings, open car park space and a private helipad too. 

Conference and event facilities include the Haven Ballroom, two Seminar Rooms, an Outdoor Amphitheater, a Garden Area fronting the lake and a Rooftop setting above the clubhouse. The views are captivating here at every corner of Haven and from early am views to afternoon, sunset moment here to night views too. I took a short, slow stroll around this Haven and I really enjoyed the scenic places that make me feel real peaceful and blissful to be here during the weekend short holiday. 

An on-site extensive range of outdoor recreational and team building activities are available within the resort's natural landscape. The Lotus flowers were blooming beautifully around one corner of this lake and I never wana missed the chance to snap more pictures for lovely memories with back to the nature. Love the natural nature all over the place, full with many kinds of plants around this tranquil greenery resort.

The Haven offers one of the most stunning venues for events, and is ideal for weddings and private functions. How I wish to be single again so I can organise my wedding to be held here as Haven really spells the landmark of 'Fung Leong Shui Lang', a piece of heaven on earth to me. As you can see from my Evergreen Love Blog, I always put my love for nature of having majestic 'High Mountain with Feng Shui Water' to enhance more good lucks into my life.

  

FOOD & BEVERAGE

The Haven houses two restaurants - CUISINES Poolside Bar & Restaurant and THE PREMIERE private indoor restaurant that serves the best of Local favourites in addition to other Asian, Western and Mediterranean cuisines for variety.

Only fresh and wholesome food are served, using only the best quality and natural ingredients and where possible, ingredients are purchased daily, with most sourced from local farms. Artificial ingredients or sweeteners are strictly avoided.

Familiarisation Tour of Ipoh, Perak

In conjunction with The Haven Luxury Resort official opening, a familiarisation tour of Ipoh, Perak hosted by The Haven in collaboration with Tourism Malaysia and Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM), Malaysian National Railway Operator was held in August 2015 for journalists to stay and experience a variety of events and destinations throughout Perak.

This 2 days 1 night of heavenly breakaway from the hustle and bustle of KL city last weekend was a total bliss sent from heaven to me. I wana thanked all the involved parties who have sincerely invited me to do a special review of this luxury stay at Haven Ipoh. I'm grateful and thankful for this magnificent experience, totally feeling joyful and gleeful about it esp.coming together with my dear lover and soul mate of my life, having free and easy plans of my own.

In fact, I totally fell in love with this place because I love 'San Shui'(mountain, water) kinda clean, green and serene eco-environment like Haven. I believe I will live longer, healthier and happier if I can keep on staying here for long. Haven is considered a paradise to me, very private land surrounded with good Fengshui elements that I really like very much in living here for days or months.

Haha...Rambo even suggested to get me a unit of this luxury condotel so I can always come back for many holidays here that kinda tempted me so much. I even shared this beautiful place with my friend in Ipoh in the event if she's interested to invest a unit here just like Rambo. I even suggested for this year end company holiday, we can do a team building trip here at Haven if our company is not travelling to overseas. In fact, I prefer to travel here locally, easier.

Ipoh has become one of the most visited place of interest and eateries especially among the Chinese in China. It has become one of the growing vacation destinations in Malaysia that's for sure because I dare to say that Malaysia definitely offers the best food in the whole world.

The good food spread provided by Haven was delightful and wonderful. You name it, they have it. Furthermore, they also served us Nasi lemak at buffet breakfast, Mediterranean plus Western Lunch and local Malaysian delicacies for dinner which are pleasurably satisfied, every meals turned out to be really delicious. Even the soup is yummylicious with lots of vegetables inside. I'm a fussy, choosy food lover so one sip of the soup I'll know it's originally made by fresh ingredients or not. 



The hospitality and services rendered to us during our stay here was one of the best I ever had. Everywhere I travel to, be it locally to international 5 star services, they usually served me good service and courteously but nothing beats the Malaysian hospitality. Haven is one of them, having best of the best people here, Haven is definitely a big contender to beat if they ever compete with the Japanese in Japan. Chong is our fantastic host here at Haven, and he really did a real good job attending to all of us last weekend.

If ever Nakamura and our Japanese friends wishing to purchase any property in Malaysia, considering a 2nd home plan here I would definitely recommend this Haven condotel for them. When I showed the Haven pictures to my sister-inlaws during dinner last Sunday, they got awe-inspired to know more about Haven too. In fact, I wanted to bring my dear 3 Charmer girls over here for this lovely vacation but my dear LeAnne needs to study for UPSR exam this week. If not, the 3 of them would get very excited about the holiday and would have such great blast of happiness swimming together with me all around Haven just like I did.

My bestie Jamie immediately asked me how much per night staying here after I have posted a picture of Haven - Heaven On Earth on my Facebook as she's an avid traveller like me who's willing to spend and splurge for luxury holiday. All they have is money, they only need honest information and updates from me only. After sharing my glorious stay here with her, she told me she had booked one night stay at The Haven for holiday and Rambo agreed she has made the right choice to stay here as he fell in love with Haven too. 

Till today, I'm still reminiscing all the enjoyable moments I had here with Rambo because we really enjoyed the good food here with yummy+healthy juices plus the aromatic Suzuki Coffee from Japan. It's a great fortune for me being able to enjoy these rejuvenating moments just cozying ourselves relaxingly at Haven without having to drive around the Ipoh city looking for the best food in town anymore. Haha..That's life, life is beautiful when you're grateful!
