Blessing In Disguise

Life is beautiful to me nowadays not because I'm full of lovely compliments that happened to cross and spiraling all along my daily journey today, but it's the inner peace of mind I've achieved to reach in my golden dream of life today. I'm grateful each day to Amituofo, Buddha and Guan Yin for granting me good health, so long I'm free from illness and sickness, no pain and stay far away from the cough, flu and infection I'm already so thankful to God liao. I told Rambo also if we can achieve a peace of mind like this we've succeed to gain a million dollar profits into our lives already. No other money size of 5 figure salary/income can compensate you for a good health you're looking for. That 5, 6 figure of income meant nothing to you by then if really yesterday you've contracted a serious illness of cancer or whatever sickness it can be. Sickness is not only causing pain of money liability that's going to weigh you down heavily, it is also affecting your physical and mental health altogether real badly. And that's when you would realised you really hope you can turn back the time to undo the past.

Now you know why so many successful people like Datuk J and many of my CEO friends needed to attend those motivational talks from time to time and they never have much time for the family sometimes. They need to get inspired, empowered and motivated to do much better in life than today's achievement. They also need to learn how to change for good and most foremost thing to do is to correct their bad attitude in life to superb good attitude, because it's your attitude that is able to determine your capabilities and success in life. They're willing to pay RM20,000 and above for any motivational talks from local event to overseas to be brain-washed by them and absorbing the high-spirited+motivated feeling after attending the meaningful and powerful talks. At the end of the day, it's totally worthy of the money spent because what you've gained from the knowledge of these successful speakers are going to 'Chung Po'(exceed) your hidden inner talents to extraordinary success, and it's always depending on how you're able to dig the great talent+positive attitude inside of you splendidly.

Yesterday on a sunny Sunday where I was supposed to go renew my passport, I heard somebody calling me "Princess" not just once but twice, then I look around and I saw 3 young malay boys aged 7, 10 and 12 were sitting near my car parking, smiling at me calling me that. I laugh out loud and told Rambo about that. Rambo said yea he heard that and thought they're so young but knowing how to 'Zui Lui Jai', wooing the girls already. Haha...I told him they're just boys and they didn't know my age yet, once they know that I'm 39 they need to call me aunty liao. Boys will be boys forever, even till they get old also they're still the same species called Generation X. Kids be it girls or boys, they're very pure as you get to know them better and they're just acting being themselves only, no harm to that I replied Rambo then.

I went shopping at Pavilion KL due to the not so hardworking staffs of Malaysia Immigration that is supposed to close at 10pm, but they said after giving out certain numbers they stopped giving services liao. We called and found out that Datuk Keramat is still having a place for me, but I decided to go another time next week since I reached KL liao. I got to grab a fascinating Red Leather branded handbag from Germany that instantly caught my attention and feeling so happy after buying it. When I found out I didn't get any rebate from the new Parkson membership card after spending so much, I straightly told the staff the new card point system sucks and I complained to Rambo about it. I missed out so much cash rebates you know but after venting out my frustration about it, I feel lighten up about it as it can mean a blessing in disguise for me too.

Haha...I can save more money then since you're not encouraging me to shop smart and hard here with such a ridiculous point system. I kinda banned Isetan membership card too nowadays as before this, they're giving us 5% rebate after spending more than RM1000 but in the last 2 years, they dare to tell me that sales item and normal items counted differently now. Before this, it is based on the total money that we have spent you see. When my sister Defney told me her father-inlaw bought the golf equipment and gifts totalling RM1500+, plus with all my spending for the past 6 months I thought I can claimed about a few hundreds liao with 5% cash rebates, but when they told me about the new point system that is lousy+ridiculous, I totally banned them liao. I know how the Japanese works, they really 'Shuen Shui Chou' one, like what the Chinese used to say 'very calculative to death.'

I even told my sis, her Isetan points for me in the end means nothing to us although she still keeps the supplementary card that I gave to her just in case she needs to enter Isetan for Members Day or get extra discounts for Isetan members only. The funny part is when we shop nowadays, we asked if the price stated is inclusive of GST or not, if need to add another 6% we rather forgo it. Haha...we tried so hard to run from paying the GST to the extent of saving a bit of money just because we didn't like to spoil them to overcharge us. For an example that day I bought 2 cute things from Daiso the Curve where I usually paid RM10 only for each RM5 thing, but now I need to pay RM10.60 where I told Rambo if I bought 4 items, I need to pay RM21.20, the RM1.20 I can buy a pack of yummy Nasi Lemak for total enjoyment already. Useless GST!

In fact, yesterday this lovely UK brand sales associate called me and asking me why so long didn't see me? Haha...I replied her I was very busy recently and thanked her for showering me nice compliments about my clothing. I also said it seemed very quiet everywhere and she told me very slow business these days. I added must be the GST and she replied me yea must be, because I went to Miss Selfridge I check on the prices, went up liao due to GST extra 6% charge so I put it back and walked away even for 50% discounts. No eyes to see them that makes me no heart to shop locally as excitedly like before, making us feeling 'Bo Song liao' where I used to say shopping in my own country is really 'Song' esp.contributing it back to my country Malaysia. Those 70% discounts clothings that I've check and compare the old price with the new price, no hiking up or hanky panky about it then only I buy. And I used the cash voucher to purchase it to treat it like a free or complimentary gift for this satisfactory shopping.

Rambo saw me with the Parkson shopping bags yesterday he knew liao I was feeling totally fantastic about it and joking with me by saying "Thank you for spending money in your country. Malaysia really needs someone like you to boost up the economy." Haha...I laugh out loud and showing him the prideful lovely handbag I get to blast from my shopping spree this time(not the above picture). Go for a smart shopping from now on, I just don't feel like spoiling them only. If they make full use of the GST tax money to build more, better schools or highway without tolls for us then it is fine for me, but not for them to spend lavishly unnecessary and treating us like a fool only. I told Rambo Johor and Penang states are gonna abolished the GST system now, we really hope that everywhere in KL and the whole country should followed the same rules soon, or our money is going to flow out of the country instead if they're still stubborn and greedy about it. Dr. Mahathir also said it many times already we don't need GST for our country Malaysia and I totally agreed with it. That's life!

  1. FYI, the price tagged should inclusive of 6% GST . If not, it will be considered as offense to GST Act... You can make report to custom..

    1. Yea, it is inclusive. But last time no need so it's cheaper lot, now you need to pay extra 6% which is not worth it. 6% you can enjoy a pack of Nasi Lemak liao if you buy 4 products. Lucky I bought 2 items only which I really needed to use it badly!

  3. GST has caused people to suffer...it make people poorer with the rise of prices of food and goods. Retirees dependent on their savings would be hit hard.

    1. Yea, we're moving backwards and staying stagnant at a certain stage of life only. You cannot afford to retire at the age of 60, maybe 70 but then, who can really live that long life span in this generation you tell me!
