Glam Raya Exclusive Fashion Collection At Tesco

Tesco Stores Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Tesco Malaysia) today announced its collaboration with Malaysian celebrities and renowned local cartoonist Ujang for exclusive Raya collection called Glam Raya. Such a coincidence I need to go to The Curve for some shopping collection, I was glad I came to Tesco and witnessed this celebratory fashion event that afternoon.  

This year, Tesco aims to bring a meaningful Raya for all its customers which include its exclusive collaboration with a versatile actress and fashion icon, RozitaChe Wan. Fans of RozitaChe Wan can now own her iconic looks inspired by the actress herself at an affordable priceas low as RM299 per piece. The collection will be featured in selected 20 Tesco stores nationwide beginning mid-May.

RozitaChe Wan for Tesco collection comes in 10 designs which carries her signature styles in vibrant colours such as red, neon yellow, purple, emerald green, mint green, dust pink, black and white complemented with lace finishingthat are very easy and comfortable to wear for aglamorous Raya look, while being muslimah compliant. All RozitaChe Wan for Tesco collection will be made available online via Tesco’s exclusive online partner, Lazada. This is one of the many simple and nice design that brighten up with sweet and lovely colour.

Tesco is also proud to present its collaboration with the talk-of-town TV show, MokCun by Eirma Fatima. MokCun collection comes in four traditional Kurung styles with four Tudungdesigns such as Kurung Kedah, Kurung Pahang, Kebaya and Kebarung in various colours. The collection is from the wardrobe of the popular TV series worn by Eirma Fatima herself for her role as an ambitious entrepreneur, MokCun. These collections are available only at selected Tesco stores with price range from RM89.90 to RM199 per piece.

For an even more meaningful Raya, Tesco has also collaborated with well-known cartoonist in bringing exclusive casual looks for adult and children with Ujang t-shirt collection. Ujang collection comes in six exclusive designs in short and long-sleevesat an affordable price from RM25.90 to RM35.90. Ujang t-shirts collection in adult and kids sizes will be available at all Tesco stores beginning 20th May onwards.

Tesco Malaysia’s Multichannel Director, Janice Chan, speaking at the event said “Every year, we work harder putting together only the best for our customers in terms of our apparel offerings especially for Hari Raya. Based on feedback, we know that customers are always excited to see what we have in store for them.  However this year, instead of collaborating with local designers as we have in the past 5 years, we’ve decided to change up our offer this Ramadan and Hari Raya with a collection by local celebrities. 

“We have been inspired by the iconic red carpet looks by RozitaChe Wan over the past few years. We believe that the collection we have put together will give the opportunity to RozitaCheWan’s fans to collect the different styles at affordable prices at Tesco,” added Janice.

Commenting onpartnership with Lazada, Janice said, “We are very excited to announce that Lazada is our exclusive online partner. Although this is not our first time working together, this strategic partnership will give our customers as well as RozitaCheWan’s fans all over the region the opportunity to grab the highly anticipated collection by RozitaChe Wan and other Glam Raya collection by Tesco,delivered to their doorstep via Lazada”.

For more affordable Raya collection, Tesco also present its in-house brand collection called Sejati which covers female, male and children attire such as Baju Melayu, Sampin, Baju Kurung, Jubah and many more with attractive prices starts at RM29.90 to RM189.90 per piece which is available at all 55 Tesco stores nationwide and Lazada.
