Ginger Health Benefits

Ginger is one of the most powerful tonic herb that offers healing benefits for almost every organ of the body. It is definitely my favourite healthy drink of the week that I would home-made it every Sunday at home without failed, helping to boost up my immune system for the whole long week. I make sure Rambo bought the spicy and old type of the many kinds of Ginger family and fresh Lemongrass from supermarket every week for this healthy drink. Delicious drink, yet healing and healthy enough for this spicy Dragon lady of me.

Haha...Ginger has a particular affinity for the digestive tract. It has been used for centuries as a digestive aid by the Chinese, Ayurvedic and European herbal traditions. It relieves a wide variety of digestive ailments like nausea, heartburn, flatulence and dirrhea. If you're going to Hunan province for a holiday, be sure to get the Chinese Ginger Candies that tasted really yummylicious with natural sweetness and spiciness of the aromatic Ginger.

I totally fell in love with it the minute they let me tried the many kinds of it. It cost RM15 for a big packet with 4 small packets in it. Although it's not cheap but it's really worth it if you really like to indulge in it. Ginger also helps to fight cough and cold, warming the chest and lowers cholesterol level, which is a good solution choice of drink for me as I love taking the typical Malaysian good food like Sarawak Laksa, Nasi Lemak and Johor Laksa everyday.

The anti-inflammatory properties of ginger not only help to relieve menstrual cramps or digestive upsets, but it also help to soothe migraine headaches and arthritis. Ginger keeps the cardiovascular system healthy by lowering blood pressure and preventing the blood clots that lead to heart attacks and strokes. Most of all, I love indulging Ginger drinks or Ginger sweets because it's tasty for my daily indulgence and keeps me away from the influenza virus esp. helpful for treating colds and flu.
